At the Captain Wayne Brooks Jr. Foundation, we carry forward his dedication to service through various community initiatives, helping families of Newark, NJ and surrounding communities affected by fires, and including our prestigious St. Benedict’s Preparatory fencing scholarship program.

Supporting Families Affected By Fires

Through our commitment to supporting families affected by fires, we have proudly assisted 23 families to date. In moments of sudden loss and uncertainty, we’ve provided immediate essentials — including toiletries, clothing, shoes, baby supplies, and thoughtful gifts — offering comfort, dignity, and hope when it’s needed most. Every act of care honors Firefighter Wayne’s legacy of service and reminds families affected by fires they are not alone.
